Apply Now for the Clinical Laboratory Science Program — Spring 2027

Interested in a career in clinical lab science? The Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) program at SFSU prepares you for work in hospitals, clinics and research labs. As a licensed CLS professional, you’ll play a key role in patient care by analyzing samples and helping doctors diagnose and treat disease.

The application period for spring 2027 runs May 1–July 11, 2026.

This program is ideal if you have a strong background in biology or chemistry and want to take the next step toward a healthcare career. It includes online didactic courses and a one-year clinical internship at an approved lab in California.
