Register January 17 - January 29
To register before the first day of classes, follow these steps.
Select the classes that interest you.

- Use Advanced Class Search
- Select Term
- For Session select College of Professional & Global Education (CPaGE)
- Select Subject
- Under Course Number check Include Open University Classes
- Click the Advanced Search button
- Check course prerequisites in the SF State Bulletin. See Prerequisites Policy.
- Check Spring 2023 Policies > Course Restrictions to make sure your course is eligible for Open University and early registration.
Complete the enrollment form.
Register January 30 - February 20
Follow these steps to register on the first day of classes and beyond.

Permission numbers are required for registration after the second week of classes, February 6 and later.
