Who Should Attend: This intensive workshop is for entrepreneurs and other business professionals who have limited time yet want to increase their understanding of social media best practices, learn how to develop winning social media marketing plans and campaigns, and implement solid techniques for tracking and improving social media success. Attendees should have a basic understanding of Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to get the most out of this workshop.

Day 1: Strategic Social Media Marketing (.6 CEU)
Prerequisite: Recommended: Basic knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Conversations, contests, status updates, newsfeeds, tweets, likes, and posts. Knowing where to spend your time and marketing budget on social networks isn't always obvious. In day one of the workshop, we'll review case studies that will inspire your own strategic thinking and teach you the importance of planning before implementing.
You'll learn:
- How to develop a winning social media marketing strategy
- How your social media marketing strategy fits into your overall marketing strategy
- Successful and failed implementations of social media strategies

Day 2: Social Media Campaigns: Best Practices (.6 CEU)
Prerequisite: Recommended: Basic knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Facebook is where everyone is, but is it really where people are talking most about your brand? Learn how to discover where to focus your marketing efforts and how to build an effective social media marketing campaign.
In day two of the workshop, you'll learn how to:
- Develop a good social media campaign based on your audience
- Listen effectively to audience needs and discover where they're talking about your brand
- Choose the right social networks and tools based on your audience and goals

Day 3: Social Media Metrics & Performance Management (.6 CEU)
Elective
Prerequisite: Recommended: Basic knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Discover the best social media monitoring tools and which metrics matter most. It's not just about pure numbers but also influence, engagement, and retention.
In day three of the workshop, you'll learn how to:
- Determine which metrics are most important for your business
- Use analytics data to improve campaign performance
- Test different versions of marketing materials for maximum results
