Susan Barnes

Susan Barnes is founder and president of Susby Internet Strategy, a web, search, and social media marketing consulting company in San Francisco. She was previously Vice President at an internet solutions firm, and Multimedia Creative Specialist at a marketing and communications agency. Susan has been teaching for SF State since 2004 and is an Internet Design & Technology graduate of the SF State Multimedia Studies Program. Her Master of Music degree is from Northwestern University and her two Bachelor's degrees are from Oberlin College and Conservatory. Susan serves as a program advisor for the Social Media Marketing Program. She also has just had her first book published, Like, Follow, Share: Awesome, Actionable Social Media Marketing to Maximize Your Online Potential.


Deb Doyle

Deb Doyle is the president of Stage2 Marketing, an agency that helps start-up and early stage consumer companies crystallize and execute their marketing plans. She led teams at agencies such as McCann Erickson and Publicis & Hal Riney. Her clients included Sprint PCS, where she introduced the first US camera phone; Stanford Hospital & Clinics, where she created their first brand campaign; and Applied Materials. As both an agency representative and a staff member, Deb acted as regional CMO for McDonald's Restaurants in Arizona and California. Her markets led the country in sales and profits by focusing on solving customer problems. She has a B.A. in English from Pennsylvania State University.


Avery Horzewski

Avery Horzewski is president AVE Consulting, a marketing and customer communications firm that helps companies develop and refine their communication strategies, and past-president of Women in Consulting, a nonprofit organization that services consultants. She regularly speaks on social media, its impact on business, and implementation best practices. Avery holds bachelor and master degrees in speech communication from California State University, Hayward. She serves as one of the program advisors for the Social Media Marketing Program.


Jonathan Lance

Jonathan Lance serves as a communications officer for the Contra Costa County Office of Education and director of communications for On Your Mark Events. Prior, he was the public relations manager of Life Chiropractic College West. Along with his instruction experience at SF State, Jonathan has also taught graduate and undergraduate courses in marketing, PR, and video production at other Bay Area colleges. Jonathan earned a B.S. degree in electronic communications arts from SF State and an M.S. in public affairs and public relationships from Golden Gate University.


Tracy Sestili

Tracy Sestili is founder of Social Strand Media, a social media marketing and web design agency. She also serves on Women for Winesense's Board of Directors as their National Marketing Director. A sought-out speaker, she has spoken at BlogHer, WITI, Center for Nonprofits, and Social Media Strategies Summit. Prior, she was the Director of Operations at TiVo Inc. for almost ten years and also co-founded a cancer nonprofit. Tracy earned her B.A. in Speech Communications from Shippensburg University and is the author of Taking Your Brand from the Bench to the Playing Field (Amazon and Kindle).


Christina Trampota

Christina leads dynamic companies as they continue to innovate and evolve with the mobile and digital technologies of today and tomorrow. She is Founder and Managing Partner of CGM Squared, where she consults with a focus on innovative high growth companies to deliver breakthrough products and marketing that result in high growth and impact. Over the last decade, she has worked for both large influential brands such as Visa, Motorola, and AT&T, as well as startups funded by Sequoia, Greylock and Kleiner Perkins. She also works as an advisor for mobile startups in Avion Ventures and Momentum Accelerator as well as nonprofit marketing leaders via the Social Media for Nonprofits organization. She has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
