Music/Recording Industry Summer Intensive

Students taking ALL four courses of the MRI Intensive will receive a $200 price break for A&R and Beginning Recording for Performers, a $400 savings.

Students not taking the full MRI Intensive are welcomed to register for individual courses within the Intensive, at the regular price.

Artist & Repertoire - Course 1

Mondays, June 7-August 9

Students will focus on finding the niche market for them, specifying the target audience and the difference between individual and commercial success.

Songwriting - Course 2

Tuesdays, June 8-August 10
With songwriting legend Larry Batiste

Students will take the A&R Plan from course 1 and write the song that’s right for them and fits their A&R plan.

Studio Training Workshop: Vocalist - Course 3

Wednesdays, June 9-August 11
With top session singer Claytoven Richardson

A focus on microphone techniques and getting the most of your studio time.

Beginning Music Recording for Performers - Course 4

Thursdays, June 10-August 12
With Skyline Studios owner and professional singer Bryan Matheson

This course focuses on making the magic of the song and performance translate into a professional sound recording.
