"Thank you so much for your support and guidance while I was re-educating myself to be part of the 21st century! It certainly wasn't easy for a dinosaur like me to immerse myself in this entire new computer lingo. But I was determined to reinvent myself, so I could continue to be employable. I'm happy to report that the skills I've learned since I started my classes last June have been critical to my re-entering the job market.
Using Illustrator and Photoshop to draw clothes on the computer has been both challenging and fun. I've used the InDesign program to design business cards, fashion line guides, and postcards for clients and myself. The supportive instructors at SF State Extended Learning gave me the confidence to apply my skills on the computer to learn other programs that are commonly used in the garment industry. Making patterns for clothing on the computer is my latest passion. I'm thrilled I'm no longer obsolete! I would highly recommend your program to my friends and coworkers."
