SFSU and the College of Extended Learning offer mature students a variety of choices for making learning last a lifetime.
- Eldercollege
Eldercollege gives people over 50 the opportunity to take any regular university course (on a space available, audit basis)
- Sixty-Plus
Sixty Plus is a self-governing organization for anyone 60 and over that offers its members the opportunity for continuing learning and personal growth in a campus setting. The program includes twice monthly lectures on a variety of subjects; auditing any regular university course (on a space available basis); trips, social and cultural events.
- Over 60 Degree Program
The Over 60 Degree Program enables people 60 years or older to earn a baccalaureate or master's degree at SF State without paying traditional admission or registration fees.
- Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI)
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is an innovative educational program for people over 50 years old and above. This program offers a topical curriculum, field trips, forums, and other educational opportunities.
