Mary L. Topliff

Mary L. Topliff, of the Law Offices of Mary L. Topliff in San Francisco, has specialized in employment law counseling, training and compliance for 19 years. Ms. Topliff is a frequent speaker on practical applications of workplace legal issues and recent legal/legislative developments. She has been an adjunct faculty member with San Francisco State University's College of Extended Learning since 1999.

Ms. Topliff serves on the Editorial Advisory Boards of two award-winning Employer Resource Institute publications: the California Employment Law Answers and the California Wage and Hour Advisor, which received the APEX Award for Publication Excellence in September 2007. She also serves on the Editorial Review Board for the State Bar of California's Labor and Employment Law Review. Ms. Topliff was elected to the Board of Directors of the Northern California Human Resources Association in 2007. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Youth Leadership Institute and is Chair of the Work-Life Balance Committee of Queen's Bench, a women's bar association. In 2006, Ms. Topliff was invited to be a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
