SF State Extended Learning offers a three-week intensive version of their Event and Meeting Planning Certificate Program. The program includes nine core classes and six predetermined elective classes, developed to provide the student with practical, common components of managing well-executed meetings and events.

The program begins on June 4, 2012 at the San Francisco State University Downtown Campus at 835 Market Street, Sixth Floor.

The demand for knowledgeable and sophisticated meeting and event planners has grown. Meetings and conventions now represent a $95 billion industry in North America alone; since 1989, the Department of Labor has officially recognized the occupation of Meeting Planner.
