Credit Type

Credit earned is SF State residence credit which can be used toward a degree at SF State and other universities.

15 contact hours of instruction equals one semester unit.

Grades

Students receive letter grades for completion of courses. Credit/no credit grading is optional.

Units appear automatically on SF State transcripts. When the certificate is completed, it is posted on the transcript.
