Introduction
The Professional Practice of Internal Auditing academic certificate program targets those individuals who work in or are interested in the field of internal auditing. A student in this program will find that it will assist her or him in becoming a certified internal auditor, a professional designation given by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
The certificate program is offered by the department of accounting and reflects what the Institute of Internal Auditors regards as the common body of knowledge for internal auditors. The content of the program will enhance an internal auditor's formal business education.
Enrollment
Students in this program enroll through Open University. Please Note: During fall and spring, all Open University students must show up to the first class session to see if the instructor can admit them. Open University students have a lower enrollment priority than regular University students. Admission to classes is entirely at the discretion of the instructor. If the instructor can admit you, they will provide you with a permit number which you can use to enroll online. |
